LEXINGTON, Ky. - Saint Mary's College Volleyball was recognized for their outstanding scholastic efforts for the past academic year by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as the Belles picked up their 16th straight AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 year.
 
The Belles were one of more than 1,430 collegiate and high school volleyball programs to garner the award for the past year. The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors teams that maintain a year-long grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale).
 
Saint Mary's was one of 29 programs to win the award for 15+ seasons. This is the eighteenth time and sixteenth straight season in which the Belles have earned the award.
