Belles Tennis Prepares for Spring Slate


NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College Tennis announced their spring 2026 schedule on Friday.
 
Saint Mary's kicks off the spring on the road as they head down to Indianapolis, IN to take on Hanover College on February 7. The Belles then return home for three-straight matches as they take on Spring Arbor University on February 13 at the South Shore Health and Racquet Club before a double-header on February 21 hosting Carthage College and Indiana University Kokomo at Notre Dame's Eck Pavilion.
 
The Belles close out February on the 27th as they travel to Ohio to take on both the College of Wooster and Case Western Reserve University. They then finish off the weekend back at home, hosting Oberlin College and the University of Saint Francis (IN) at Eastlake Athletic Club in Elkhart, IN.
 
After the first month of the season, Saint Mary's heads south for five matches across three days in Florida. They start off the week on March 9 taking on Sweet Briar College in Cocoa Beach, FL. The Belles then tackle a double-header on the 10th, taking on Dickinson College and Ohio Northern University. After a day of rest, the Belles head to Orlando, FL for two matches on the 12th against Wheaton College and the University of Minnesota-Morris.
 
Saint Mary's returns home after the spring break trip to host North Park University at South Shore on March 18. The Belles jump into MIAA play the next weekend as they travel north to Albion College on March 27 before heading over to Alma College on March 28. They then return home for a single match on April 1 as they host the University of Olivet before taking a quick trip to Angola, IN to take on Trine University on April 7.
 
The Belles return for their final two home matches, starting on April 15 as they host Adrian College and on April 18 when they host Calvin University for Senior Day. The Belles close out the season with back-to-back road matches, starting at Kalamazoo College on April 21 before closing out the regular season at Hope College on April 25.
 
Saint Mary's heads into their 18th season under the direction of Head Coach Dale Campbell after finishing last season with a 16-5 overall and 6-2 MIAA record. The Belles took home a first round win in the MIAA Tournament over Trine before falling at Kalamazoo in the semi-finals. The team currently sits at 2-0 after wins over Indiana University East and Anderson University in the fall.
 
The Belles return seven faces from last spring, including five of their starting singles players. Seniors Emma Kealy (Hudson, OH) and Evelyn Demblans-Dechans (Missoula, MT) lead the way along with juniors Anna Gardner (Houston, TX) and Sophia Pischalko (Granger, IN). The four upperclassmen are joined by sophomores Lanie Brant (Stevensville, MI), Shannon Dudy (Glenview, IL), and Odessa Norton (Carmel, IN).
 
They welcome three new faces to the program in freshmen Mia Graziano (Western Springs, IL), Maria Manzella (Mokena, IL), and Raelynn Pickup (Thornton, CO).
 
Dudy led the team last year with 33 overall wins while Kealy added 31 and Gardner added 30. Brant and Pischalko also added 28 to the total. Dudy led the Belles in singles play with 17 wins while Brant and Gardner each added 16. Pischalko and Kealy finished in double figures with 14 and 11. Kealy led the returning Belles in doubles wins with 20 on the season while Dudy added 16 to her total, Gardner and Pischalko each added 14, and Brant added 12.
