Hannah Sanders MS, LAT, ATC joined the Saint Mary's College athletic training staff in August 2024

Hannah most recently worked as an athletic training resident with Parkview Sports Medicine where she specialized in sports rehabilitation. She also had a variety of clinical education experiences prior to graduating. In the spring of 2024, she was with St Vincent Sports Performance where she worked with high level athletes, including IndyCar mechanics and drivers. She had a summer immersive rotation at the Louisville ballet and gained experience working in performing arts medicine. She also completed rotations with Butler University, Marian University, Lawrence North High School, and North Central High School. Sanders also has experience teaching and choreographing dance to students ages 3-18 in the styles of ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary.

Sanders earned her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology in 2022 from Indiana University Indianapolis, where she majored in exercise science and minored in dance. She earned her Master of Science in athletic training in 2024 from the University of Indianapolis. She has research experience in chronic ankle instability and blood flow restriction, and also presented a clinical case study about chronic exertional compartment syndrome.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association (GLATA), and the Indiana Athletic Trainers Association (IATA), the Performing Arts Athletic Trainer Society (PAATS). She has also participated in the GLATA, IATA, and PAATS annual meetings and symposiums.
