NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Saint Mary's tennis team captured a 9-0 win over IU Kokomo on Saturday at the Eck Tennis Pavilion. 

 

Lucy Chamberlin and Leah Hosang were the first pair off the court as they took an 8-2 win at two doubles. Alayna Campbell and Emma Kealy captured an 8-3 decision at one doubles, and Kathleen McLeod and Evelyn Demblans-Dechans earned an 8-5 win at three doubles for a 3-0 lead.

 

Campbell put the team one decision away from the victory with a 6-1, 6-0 win at two singles. Hosang clinched the team win with a 6-0, 6-1 decision in her favor at four singles. McLeod hardly missed a beat with a 6-0, 6-2 win at five singles. Kealy edged her counterpart in a tight second set for a 6-1, 7-5 straight-set victory at three singles. Demblans-Dechans came off the court with a 6-1, 6-1 decision at six singles. Chamberlin capped off the 9-0 win with a 6-4, 6-1 victory at one singles for the Belles.

 

Kalyn Borger and Hannah Gerner cruised to a 6-0 exhibition doubles win. Katie Hunter picked up a 6-1 exhibition singles win, and Ava Stengle earned a 6-2 exhibition singles win of her own on the day.

The Belles (11-0) have a short turnaround as they are set to host Adrian on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. for a match rescheduled from March 10.
