Belles Draw With Scots on Senior Day

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College Soccer drew with Alma College on Saturday afternoon, 0-0, in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play. The Belles move to 7-4-1 (2-1-1 MIAA) while the Scots go to 0-10-1 (0-4-1 MIAA).

The Belles honored the class of 2025 on Saturday afternoon. Saint Mary's honored Riley Lindsey (Valparaiso, IN), Grace Barresi (St. Charles, IL), Mary Kaczynski (South Bend, IN), Katie Harrington (Granger, IN), and Izzi Linus (Washington Crossing, PA)

Both teams played a physical first half but stayed knotted at 0-0 going into the half. Five Belles each recorded a shot with one shot on goal by sophomore Margaret Slove (Spring Grove, IL).

The Belles and Scots stayed physical through the second half with five yellow cards between the two teams. Saint Mary's had plenty of offensive attacks as they recorded 11 shots in the second half alone but couldn't find the back of the net.

Saint Mary's ended the day with 16 total shots with five shots on goal. Lindsey had one save marking this as her fourth shutout of the season. Nine Belles had one or more shot with freshman Isabella Kreydich (Tinley Park, IL) leading with three.
