GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Golf would finish the first MIAA Jamboree with a fourth place finish after shooting a 324 as a team.
Sophomore Melanie Maier (Richmond, TX) would lead the Belles with a T5 finish on the day after shooting a five-over 77. Maier would tally two birdies on the day while paring her final four holes to shoot 38-39.
Junior Colleen Hand (Royal Oak, MI) and freshman Katharine Swain (South Bend, IN) would finish T17 after they each carded an 82 (+10). Hand would tie Maier with the lowest nine-hole score of the day for the Belles with a 38 on the front.Â
Freshman Kate Plessinger (Columbus, OH) would compete at the event as an individual and would join Hand and Swain with a T17 finish after carding an 82 in her first collegiate event.
Seniors Breana Harrington (Pinellas Park, FL) and Amanda Melling (East Lansing, MI) would each finish T21 after shooting an 83 (+11) on the day. Harrington would start her round off with birdie on the par-five fifth hole while Melling would conclude her round with a birdie on the same hole.

Saint Mary's heads north this weekend as they tackle the Bulldog Invitational, hosted by Ferris State University, in Big Rapids, MI. The Belles will be the lone Division III competitor in a field that features eight of the top ten Division II teams in the east region as well as 11th ranked Grand Valley State University.
