MARSHALL, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Golf opened the 2025 fall season with a second place finish at the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament. The Belles would finish with a total score of 659 after shooting 332-327 on the weekend.
Sophomore Melanie Maier (Richmond, TX) would lead the Belles with a T6 finish after shooting a 160 (+16), and carding 82-78. Senior Julia Lizak (Riverview, MI) would also finish inside the top 15 with a T12 finish after shooting a 164 (+20) after tallying a 79-85 on the two day finish.
Freshman Katharine Swain (South Bend, IN) competed in her first collegiate round and finished T18 after shooting 86-82 and totalling a 168 (+24). Seniors Breana Harrington (Pinellas Park, FL) would card a 171 (+27) after totalling 88-83. Senior Amanda Melling (East Lansing, MI) and junior Colleen Hand (Royal Oak, MI) would finish T29 with a 172 (+28). Melling would card 91-81 while Hand would card 83-89. Mellings nine shot improvement was the best on the weekend for the Belles.

Saint Mary's will take on the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic on September 13-14 in Normal, IL before jumping into the first MIAA Jamboree on September 22 in Grand Rapids, MI.
