NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College Soccer fell to Indiana University-South Bend on Thursday night, 1-0. The Belles fall to 1-1 on the year while the Titans improve to 1-2.

The Saint Mary's offense controlled the ball the majority of the second half as they went into halftime outshooting IU-South Bend, 6-3. But a ball played through a gap allowed the Titans to take a lead in the 32nd minute which they held on to the rest of the game.

Both teams' offenses struggled to get many attempts at goal in the second half while the Belles continued to control the possession. Saint Mary's ended the game with a 10-5 advantage in shots over IU-South Bend, but the Titans had the lone shot on goal in the game.

Mia Johnson (Mission Viejo, CA) led the team with four shots on the night while freshman
Lily Larimer (Pittsford, NY) added two.

UP NEXT FOR THE BELLES
Saint Mary's hits the road for the first time this season on Saturday as they travel to Earlham College for a 3pm contest. The Belles return home on Wednesday, September 9, as they host Anderson University at 6pm at the Purcell Athletic Fields.
