NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Saint Mary's College Tennis was named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team for the ninth straight season, the ITA announced on Wednesday. Along with the team award, Senior Alayna Campbell (Granger, IN), junior Emma Kealy (Hudson, OH), sophomores Anna Gardner (Houston, TX) and Sophia Pischalko (Granger, IN), and freshmen Rachael Borg (Oconomowoc, WI), Lanie Brant (Stevensville, MI), Shannon Dudy (Glenview, IL), and Odessa Norton (Carmel, IN) were all named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
This is Campbell's fourth time earning the honor while it is the third for Kealy. It is also the second time for Gardner while being the first for Borg, Brant, Dudy, Norton, and Pischalko.
In 2025, 1,269 Division III women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 165 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
To be named a Scholar-Athlete, the student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, the program must have a team GPA of 3.2.
Borg played eight matches during the season, compiling a 5-3 record. Brant would play 42 matches, recording a 28-14 record. In her final season with the Belles, Campbell would compete in 52 matches, totalling a 32-20 record, bringing her career win total to 118, the most in program history. As a freshman, Dudy would play in 47 matches, adding a 33-17 record, the most wins for the Belles this season. In her second season with the team, Gardner would play in 44 matches and finish with a 30-14 record. As a junior, Kealy would compete in 45 matches, totalling a record of 31-14. Norton would play in nine matches, finishing the season with a 5-4 record. In her first season with the program, Pischalko would play in 44 matches, tallying a 28-16 record.
