BRIGHTON, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Soccer sophomore
Mia Johnson (Mission Viejo, CA) was named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week after her contribution to the Belles in the opening week.

Johnson helped lead the team to a 2-1 record over their first three matches and helped outscore opponents 9-2. In the season opening 4-0 win over Governors State University, Johnson tallied two goals on just four shots and two shots on goal in just 45 minutes of play. In Saturday's 5-1 win over Earlham College, she tallied her second brace of the season with two goals on just four more shots and three shots on goal.

On the week in total, Johnson tallied four total goals on 12 shots with five shots on target in 170 minutes played.

Saint Mary's Soccer returns home for back-to-back games starting on Wednesday as they host Anderson University at 6pm. The Belles then welcome in Franklin College on Saturday, September 12 at 12:30pm.
