FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Tennis senior Alayna Campbell (Granger, IN) was named the MIAA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week after her performance last week in a 4-3 victory over Calvin University.

Campbell would help lead the Belles to a win over the Knights, clinching the #3 seed in the MIAA Tournament. She and doubles partner junior Emma Kealy (Hudson, OH) led the team to their first win of the night at #1 doubles, 6-2. Campbell would then come out and clinch the team victory at #1 singles in dramatic fashion, winning 6-2 7-6 (10-8) in the match tiebreaker.

Campbell and the Belles host Trine University on Monday, April 28, in a quarter finals matchup in the MIAA Tournament at the SMC Tennis Courts at 4pm.
