FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - Saint Mary's College Golf was selected to win their third straight MIAA Championship in the MIAA Women's Golf Preseason Poll, the conference announced on Friday.

The nine team MIAA will feature four fall Jamboree events and the Spring Finale in April. The first Jamboree will be held on September 22 in Grand Rapids, MI while the remaining will fall on September 30, October 6 and 11.

Saint Mary's received five first place votes and 11 total points while Trine University was projected to finish second with 15 points and received the four other first place votes.

Following the Belles and Thunder are Adrian College, Calvin University, Hope College, Kalamazoo College, Albion College, Alma College, and the University of Olivet.

Saint Mary's returns all five of their 2025 NCAA National Championships participants for the fall season including 2025 MIAA Most Valuable Golfer, sophomore Melanie Maier (Richmond, TX). Joining Maier is fellow All-MIAA First Team honoree senior Julia Lizak (Riverview, MI) and Second Team honoree junior Colleen Hand (Royal Oak, MI). The three are also joined by seniors Breana Harrington (Pinellas Park, FL) and Amanda Melling (East Lansing, MI) who made key contributions to the Belles postseason success.

The Belles kick off the fall season on September 5 and 6 at the Kyle Campbell Memorial tournament at The Medalist Club in Marshall, MI. This will be the first season for the Belles under the direction of new Head Coach Kristin Holt.
